Our work on Aerosols

• Aerosols no longer contain Chlorofluorocarbons (CFC’s), but there are still things we can do to improve the environmental impact of aerosol cans. We are working hard to reduce the amount of Volatile Organic Compounds (or VOC’s) we have in our cans. There are lots of types of VOC’s but the ones we have in our cans are the propellant (i.e. the gases to get the liquid out of the can). Our challenge is to reduce the VOC content while making sure we still get the performance results needed. We’re working hard on new ways to bring down their content.
